It’s that time again, the football season is nearing an end and time start thinking about the off season. Currently we are planning our 4th annual Northern Football Combine. Northern Minor Football would like to invite you to be part of the 2011 Northern Football Combine February 25th, 26th, and 27th at the Northern Sports Center in Prince George, British Columbia. The 3-day camp is run with the intention of improving all players’ fundamental skills and allowing them to see first hand the opportunities that are there to pursue football post graduation. After a successful camps in 2008, 2009 and 2010 we expect to have a larger and improved camp in 2011. Between Prince George, Quesnel and Vanderhoof we currently have almost 600 players playing minor and high school football in north central British Columbia so spots will likely fill up quickly. Positional spots are reserved on a first come first serve basis so don’t miss out. The camp will hopefully be made up of 140 players. 70 for the Junior Varsity group (Grade 7 – 9) and 70 players from Varsity (Grade 10 – 12). Last year we had 110 players attend and anticipate that there will be increased interest for the camp this season. The past two camps we have had the pleasure of our players and coaches getting to learn from programs such as: NCAA - Simon Fraser University This year we are working on bringing some more top notch knowledgeable coaches to Prince George once again. Registration will be $235.00 this year, which will include, practice pants, girdle, socks, practice jersey, camp T-shirt and a camp photo. Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration to secure your spot in the camp. If you need to do a payment plan of multiple payments let us know so we can set it up with the PGMFA treasurer. Camp fee will be due by Feb 1, 2010 to allow enough time to order in proper sizes for pants, girdles, jerseys and T-shirts. Any late registrant may not receive desired sizing on items.
